A walk beginning at Victoria Rd in Marrickville, which becomes Enmore Road, which turns into King St, which leads to the city centre; returning via Haymarket and Chinatown, and back on to King St, Enmore Road, Victoria Rd. A panorama of chipped, flaking and rusted history. Victorian industry gave way to migrant businesses, now being pushed out by cafes with baristas who look like timid versions of Ned Kelly. They too are transient. The city is in perpetual motion, always changing, sometimes too fast to clean up after itself.
